Benefit to aid local lung
cancer victim’s family. NEWPORT, KY January 8, 2008 - A charity
event is being held to assist with the medical bills that remain
after the death of Donald Helton who passed away in November, 2007
from lung cancer. Donald age 59, a lifetime resident of Northern
Kentucky, is survived by his wife Trisha and three children, Danny,
Missy, and Brian along with three grandchildren. Donald was a
retired employee of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans).

fund raiser at Kauai ’s hottest nightclub “Tradewinds, A South Seas
Bar” Saturday night December 29th. She donated a custom surf board
with her full size image wearing a bikini laminated on the
board.This top of the line board shaped by Jimmy Lewis of Maui had a
retail value of over $800 plus her life size image which really set
it off. Tickets were sold for the drawing and all money will be
donated to the Kauai Humane Society.
